The RIGID DC Condensing Unit is ingeniously designed to directly interface with the user's evaporator or cold plate, maximizing efficiency. Remarkably, the system operates without the need for secondary coolants, requiring only essential components to function seamlessly. Circulating cool air or utilizing coolant fans and pumps is unnecessary, as these add unnecessarycomplexity and reduce efficiency. The primary advantage of the DC condensing unit lies in its ability to eliminate most ductwork and piping, allowing for effortless integration into user equipment.

Known also as the direct expansion system, the DC Condensing Unit excels in delivering top-tier heat transfer rates. This ultra-compact chiller, featuring a mini DC compressor, employs R134a or R290 refrigerants, enabling the refrigerant to flow directly through the evaporator. This direct flow ensures heat is absorbed right at the source, significantly minimizing system size and component requirements.

The expansion parts (valve or capillary) control the flow of refrigerant into the evaporator coil. Hot air is extracted from the specific space and blown over the heat exchange coil by the evaporator/indoor fan. The refrigerant in the coil absorbs the heat and expands. This lowers the temperature of the air being blown into the space/room.
