The AlphaCooler is the most powerful, portable, iceless water cooler ever designed for core cooling like body cooling, Athletes, Medical, and Racing Drivers. It is also a personal water cooling system that connects to the hoses of a cooling suit and provides sufficient cooling to sustain the user during a mission. These systems are used by responders to prevent heat stress injuries when operating in environments that require the use of PPE (personal protective equipment).
Requiring no ice, this compact cooling system is completely maintenance-free and runs solely on the power of a rotary micro-compressor that is as powerful as other compressors 5x its size. Utilizing a miniature vapor compressor, this Alphacooler is capable of cooling to lower than, but electronically limited to 35º F. Included refrigerant is sealed within the rotary micro-compressor system. Max amp draw is rated at 18-22 amps, depending on installation and environmental conditions. Weighing less than 7kgs/15 pounds, the water cooler is portable and there is a remote control for users, it is plug-and-play.

At 110º F (43.3 ºC) ambient, the AlphaCooler is capable of chilling to 32º F (0 ºC).
Operating temperatures are adjustable from 35º to 70º. The recommended temperature setting is 50º F (10 ºC). We recommend this mid-range temperature because studies show that temperatures below 55º can shock the capillaries just below the surface of the skin and cause them to close, actually causing your body to hold heat. 50º - 60º around the torso and vital regions of the body is most effective, cooling your body from the core.
6. How long does the AlphaCooler operate before needing to be refilled?
The AlphaCooler functions on a continuous cycle. Your driving schedule and how often you use the system affect how often you need to refill the coolant reservoir. The AlphaCooler only requires about 5 oz (145ml). of a four-to-one coolant formula to distilled water mixture, so we recommend topping off before every use to prevent the system from running dry.

9. How can I control the temperature of my Alpha Cooler?
A digital display on top of the AlphaCooler communicates the current temperature. You can control or adjust your temperature through the user interface, or a dash-mounted wired remote control that displays to set temperature.
10. Can the AlpaCooler cool more than one person at a time?
Depending on the ambient temperature at the time, the car and installation, the AlphaCooler is designed to run up to 2 garments at a time.
11. What are the power requirements to power a AlphaCooler?
Take 12-volt Alphacooler as an example, the power draw can spike to 20A max, depending on your surrounding temperature, the average draw is 7A-12A amps. While for 24 volts Alphacooler, the amps draw is half of 12 volts.
Tested in extreme temperatures around 120º, our system uses around 330 watts at maximum.
We highly recommend adding an inline fuse within 6 inches from the power supply, utilizing an ACC trigger wire, 1″-1.5″ spacers between your cooler and floor pan for air circulation, inline fans, and NACA ducting to prevent heat soak, and high amp draw. Forcing cooler ambient air to the intake of the Alphacooler can significantly affect the draw rate.
