RIGID is heralded as the trailblazer in miniature compressor innovation in China. We are on a relentless quest to engineer groundbreaking solutions in compact and portable refrigeration technology.
Since 2010, RIGID has been at the cutting edge of pioneering innovative solutions in compact and portable cooling technology. With over a decade of unwavering commitment to advancing micro refrigeration design and the successful completion of more than 100 customer projects, we bring a wealth of unmatched expertise to the forefront of the industry.
The RIGID DC Condensing Unit is designed for seamless integration, directly interfacing with the user's evaporator or a cold plate. Uniquely, the system is streamlined to function without the requirement for secondary coolant, relying on a minimal number of components for optimal performance. There is no necessity to circulate cool air or employ fans or pumps to circulate coolant, as these additional components can introduce unneededcomplexity and inefficiency. The DC condensing unit's significant advantage is the elimination of extensive ductwork and piping, facilitating effortless integration into the user's equipment.
Also known as the direct expansion system, the DC Condensing Unit provides superior heat transfer rates. This ultra-compact chiller, built with a mini DC compressor, operates on R134a or R290 refrigerant. The mini compressor propels the refrigerant directly through the evaporator, allowing the refrigerant to absorb heat immediately at the heat source, thereby reducing the system's size and component complexity.

1. What is DC Condensing Unit?
-DC Condensing Unit is also named Direct Expansion. It means that the refrigerant expands to produce the cooling effect in a coil that is in direct contact with the conditioned air that will be delivered to the space.
2. What Components Included In DC Condensing Unit?
-RIGID DC Condensing Unit is consist of a mini compressor, controller, condenser, capillary, filter drier, as well as other small refrigeration parts.
3. What is Condensing Unit Evaporator in mechanical engineering?
-A direct expansion refrigeration unit, also known as a condensing unit, uses condensed refrigerant liquid to cool the air in a given space. It is widely used in micro refrigeration, small refrigerators, mobile freezers, medical, laser, precision instruments, laboratory equipment, etc.
4. What are RIGID DC Condensing Units Advantages?
-RIGID DC Condensing Unit System consists of an environmentally friendly Refrigerant, R134A, R290 or R1234yf. It is built of Brushless Compressor and driver board, micro channel condenser, and highly efficient dc fan. The DC Condensing Unit is the optimized combination of efficiency, reliability, and ultra-compact size.
A DC brushless motor powers the compressor and is available in DC 12V/24V/48 versions. Additionally, due to its small size, high reliability& efficiency, the direct expansion system has found numerous applications, particularly in medical devices and other small refrigeration equipment.
5. How does a DC Condensing Unit system work?
-The expansion parts (valve or capillary) control the flow of refrigerant into the evaporator coil. Hot air is extracted from the specific space and blown over the heat exchange coil by the evaporator/indoor fan. The refrigerant in the coil absorbs the heat and expands. This lowers the temperature of the air being blown into the space/room.
6. What is the main function of an expansion valve or capillary?
-The expansion valve removes pressure from the liquid refrigerant to allow expansion or change of state from a liquid to a vapor in the evaporator. The high-pressure liquid refrigerant entering the expansion valve is quite warm.
